Class Standards
Class standards listed below, are minimum requirements for Komyo ReikiDo classes. Duration of classes are not restricted & may be extended where necessary or broken down into increments to suit your timetable & teaching style as long as the minimum class time of each level is reached.
Official Komyo ReikiDo manuals are to be used for Komyo ReikiDo courses. Any additional techniques (that is, techniques not included in the manuals), would generally be considered non-Komyo ReikiDo or 'add ins'. If you are teaching 'add ins', please contact us.
Reiju or attunements must be given in person. Komyo ReikiDo does not allow on-line Reiki classes with distant Reiju & will not recognise certificates issued by these classes.
Please note that the criteria below, may not reach the minimum requirements for your local Reiki Associations. Please check with your association for teaching criteria, if any. Reiki associations may have their preferred insurance providers, up to date information on local Government requirements for Complementary Therapists & their own criteria for practitioners/teachers.
There are four (4) levels in Komyo ReikiDo (KRD). Initial class attendance must be in-person.
